Tuesday, November 24, 2009, the foundation will host The 3rd Annual Turkey Tuesday Community Challenge, a 24 hour challenge to provide turkeys and non perishable items to those less fortunate. JoeyCuts Barber Salon is starting off the challenge by donating 20 turkeys and challenging local businesses, organizations, churches and community members to meet or surpass that donation. At the completion of the challenge the turkeys will be evenly distributed amongst Operation Breakthrough, Salvation Army and Harvesters to provide a holiday meal to families in need. The location of the challenge will take place at JoeyCuts Barber Salon (3914 Indiana Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64130) from 8am Tuesday, November 24, 2009 to 8am Wednesday, November 25, 2009.
